Comparison
Toimii vs Google Forms
Google Forms is free, available to anyone with a Google account, and quick to set up. The cost is that it looks like a Google Form on your site: recognizable Google styling, iframe seam, spreadsheet as your inbox. Toimii trades free for a hosted web component that matches your brand and a real submissions dashboard.

Where they really differ
Your branding, not Google's
A Google Form embedded in an iframe always looks like a Google Form. The typography, spacing, and radio buttons give it away. For an internal poll, fine. For a customer-facing contact or booking flow, it makes your site look unfinished. Toimii renders inline as a web component, styled to match your brand, with no iframe seam.
A real submissions inbox
Google Forms drops submissions into a Google Sheet. Useful for some workflows, but it's a row in a spreadsheet, not an inbox. Toimii stores every submission in a dashboard with search, filtering, spam recovery, an audit trail, booking status, and notifications routed to email, Slack, webhook, or the Toimii mobile app.
One snippet covers more than forms
A Google Form covers a form. When you want a booking widget with availability slots, an NPS survey, or online ordering, you're sourcing a separate tool for each. Toimii bundles all of those on one subscription with one snippet.
Lighter on the page
Google Forms iframes are heavier than they look: a couple of hundred KB of Google's frontend, plus the privacy cost of loading google.com on your page. Toimii's web component loads async and brings no iframe with it.
Frequently asked
Is it actually obvious that a Google Form is embedded?
On a small business website where the form is the first impression of your brand, almost always yes. The iframe seam and Google styling break the look you've built. For an internal poll or a one-off survey, the difference matters less.
Does Toimii avoid iframes?
Yes. There's no iframe. Toimii loads as a native web component, inheriting your page's network and security context rather than pulling in a third-party iframe.
Can I send submissions to a spreadsheet?
We don't offer a Sheets integration today. The dashboard is the source of truth; you can export submissions on demand. If a Sheets sync matters to your workflow, tell us. That integration is on the roadmap.
We use Google Forms for everything. Is this worth switching?
Yes. Most landing pages and small business websites have one or two forms. That's the case Toimii is built for. For collecting hundreds of internal survey responses or running a teacher's quiz, Google Forms remains the easier choice.
