Where they really differ
WordPress-only vs. any website
Contact Form 7 runs only inside WordPress. Toimii's web component drops into WordPress just as easily, but also onto Squarespace, Webflow, Wix, Shopify, a static site, or a React app. Same two lines, any host.
Email delivery is on us, not on you
Contact Form 7 doesn't send the email itself — it hands the message to WordPress, which hands it to whatever mail setup your host provides. Making that reliable usually means an SMTP plugin, a separate delivery service, and the right DNS records. With Toimii, sending, deliverability, and retries are ours.
A ticket number on every submission
A Toimii submission is saved and given a ticket reference before anything else happens — before email is attempted, before any notification goes out. Is Toimii a WordPress plugin?
No. Toimii is a hosted web component on a CDN we run. You embed two lines of code; updates ship from our side. Nothing to install, nothing to update.
Will it match my WordPress theme?
Yes. The component uses Shadow DOM, so your theme's CSS can't leak in and break it. Colors, fonts, and corner styles come from the visual editor, not your stylesheet.
I'm running CF7 fine. What would make me switch?
For a single form on WordPress, CF7 works fine. The question is what happens when a submission doesn't arrive — with CF7 you usually find out from the lost customer, not from a log. Toimii writes every submission to the database with a ticket number before any email is attempted.
